This Is The Stuff

This is the first song Connie and I wrote together. Originally it was called "Add Another Stone to the Wall", and it was pretty awful. We're both rather stubborn, however, and we kept working on it until it turned into "This is the Stuff" -- which became the lead-off track of my first album and a kind of thesis statement for a lot of what I've written since.
For all the fans overseas who have written to ask about Elmer's glue -- it's a popular brand of glue featured quite prominently in the artwork of young children here in North America.
