It's a question of truth
And a matter of honesty
When a straight answer is the only thing we need
Hidden behind all the imagery
Of close-minded personal views
And a man-made creed
Well it's true, we don't know
Where the truth lies
How can we be sure
That it's in their eyes
How do we know what they really stand for
What we need is something just a little bit more
Tangible!
What's to see in an empty sky
We look up just to find out why
(Where's the answer?)
Search for something we can't reach
On out own we must relearn what they preach
It's a man-made thing.. exaggerated
Prophecized.. and majestrated
There is a lesson that must be learned
But when you argue it you just get burned
The question.. the answer.. no one knows
The key can be found in our souls
Well it's true we don't know where the truth lies
How can we be sure that it's in their eyes
How do we know what they really stand for
So give us something that is just a little but more
